“How I Lost 11 Stone” – Rachel Monaghan

Introducing our incredible new Leader, Rachel Monaghan.

Rachel first joined Unislim Ballyhaunis in January 2016 after getting so out of breath on the way to a funeral that her make up was melting down her face when she arrived. She says that when she first stepped on the scales she was shocked to see that her weight was 20 stone 10 pounds with her BMI being over double the healthy amount.

Rachel before joining Unislim and after, taking part in a Fashion show.

However, since then she has lost an amazing 11 stone. She says she found the Feed Yourself Fit plan so easy to adapt to her life and loves finding new foods she enjoys having. Shes noticed a huge difference in her mood and energy levels and finds shopping so much fun. She even strutted her stuff in her first ever fashion show last weekend and may we just say, she looked drop dead gorgeous.

Her biggest tip is to always attend class, she has only missed two since joining and says that this really works for her. She loves eating free foods, kick-start scrambled eggs for breakfast, cauliflower & chicken fried rice for lunch, and a beef stroganoff for dinner.

She’s now the Leader of Ballaghaderreen, Castlerea & Dunmore. She decided to become a Leader because she enjoyed helping other members in class and is loving her life now. Rachel says “what keeps me going is how fantastic I feel now, like anything is possible and that feel good factor.”
