Veggie Bean Burger

Ingredients

400g kidney beans

1 small onion

120g reduced fat cheese

90g wholegrain breadcrumbs

1 egg

low cal oil

Pinch salt & pepper

4 wholemeal baps

Method

Put kidney beans into a large bowl and mash.

Add cheese, onion, breadcrumbs, egg and salt and pepper and mix them into a smooth paste.

Put a little flour in your hands and shape the mixture into 4 burgers.

Heat Low Cal oil in frying pan and gently fry the burgers, turning once, until crisp and golden.

Serve in a wholegrain bap alongside our Unislim Salsa

Other Serving Options:
