Don't let your pumpkin seeds go to waste. Give them a spicy kick and use them as a healthy snack. This recipe serves 3 at 1.5 Bites per serving

Ingredients:

  • 60g Pumpkin Seeds
  • 2 tsp Peanut oil
  • 0.5 tsp Ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp Ground ginger
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

Method:

Heat the oven to 200°C.

If you’re using seeds from a freshly gutted pumpkin, remember to wash them thoroughly first.

Place the seeds in a bowl. Add cumin, ginger, cayenne pepper and peanut oil.

Stir to combine.

Pour the pumkin seeds onto a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.

Bake in the oven for 15 mins. Remove and season to taste.
