500g Extra lean mince
1 Red onion, finely chopped
1 tsp Chili powder
Salt and black pepper
Low cal spray oil
1/4 plate Wholewheat spaghetti
3 Garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 400g Tins of plum tomatoes
A small handful of basil, roughly chopped

To make the sauce, heat a large frying pan over a medium heat. Spray with cooking spray and add the garlic, simmer gently for 2-3 mins.
Add the tomatoes and simmer for 15 mins, breaking up the tomatoes as the mixture cooks.
To make the meatballs, add the mince, onion, and chili into a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Using your hands, mix everything together. Form small balls with the meat, you should get approx 15-20, and place on a plate.
Spray some cooking spray into a non-stick pan and place over a medium/high heat. Add the meatballs, in batches and cook for 4-5 mins until they are browned.
Scoop the cloves out of the tomato sauce, then add the meatballs and cook for a further 20 mins.
Place a saucepan of water with a pinch of salt over a high heat and bring to the boil. Add the pasta and cook as per packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
When the sauce is cooked, stir in the basil.
Serve the pasta with meatballs and sauce.
