4 dates, pitted
20g unsweetened cocoa powder
a pinch of salt
1/2 ripe banana
15g chopped walnuts
32g home made applesauce

1 tbsp Water
2 tsp Sweetener
APPLESAUCE:
Put the apples in a saucepan with water. Cover and cook over low heat until they are soft and mushy.
Take off the heat and beat in the sweetener. Allow to cool.
BROWNIES:
Place the oats, cashews, dates, cocoa powder, and salt in a food processor and blend until smooth.
Add the banana and applesauce and blend until a thick, slightly sticky dough forms.
Spray a baking tray with low cal spray oil.
Push the mixture into the pan firmly using the back of a spatula. Top with chopped walnuts, pushing them into the dough.
Place the tray in the fridge for at least an hour to firm up. Cut into 16 squares, and store uneaten brownies in the fridge.
