8 x 30g slices wholegrain bread
4 eggs
dash skimmed milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
To Serve
mixed berries
sweetener
(optional bites) maple syrup
Slice the wholemeal bread into strips and set aside.
In a large bowl combine the eggs, vanilla essence and milk together.
Preheat frying pan over medium heat sprayed with Sussed spray rapeseed oil.
Dip the bread strips into the egg mixture and then straight into the preheated frying pan.
Leave cooking flipping every few minutes. Once the bread strips start to turn a golden brown they’re done.
Repeat until all the bread and egg mix is used up.
Serve with scattered berries and a sprinkling of sweetener. Optional for some bites would be maple syrup.
