Cinnamon French Toast

Start your day the right way with this tasty brunch dish.

  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 slices wholemeal bread
  • Low-cal spray oil
  • 1 spoon low-fat natural yogurt
  • Fresh berries, to serve
  • A dash of skimmed milk

Whisk the egg, skimmed milk, and cinnamon together in a shallow dish.

Place one slice of wholemeal bread in the egg mixture and allow to soak for a minute. Repeat with the second slice of bread.

Spritz a pan with the low-cal spray oil and cook the egg soaked bread gently on each side until cooked through.

Serve with a spoonful of low-fat natural yogurt and fresh berries.
