Philly Cheese Steak

Ingredients

4 wholegrain rolls

low cal spray

8 tbsp (2bsp per roll) lighter than light mayo

4 tbsp (1 tbsp per roll) wholegrain mustard

2 tsp (1/2 tsp per roll) dried herbs

500g thinly sliced lean beef

1 onion, sliced

400g mushrooms, sliced

120g (30g per roll) reduced fat cheddar, grated

2 green peppers, sliced

Method

Preheat your oven to 180C.

Heat the low cal oil in a large non-stick pan then add the mushrooms, onions and cook for 2 mins. Then add the peppers & cook for a further 2 mins until they are softened.

Remove all from pan and set aside.

Add the beef in handfuls and  cook until it becomes nice and brown, about 2-3 minutes.

Meanwhile, spread mayo and mustard on top of the rolls and sprinkle the herbs all over.

Add the mushrooms, onions, cooked beef and finally, grated cheese to your rolls

Place the rolls on a baking sheet and cook it in the oven for about 5 minutes, until the cheese melts and the bread starts to turn golden.

Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
