Place a large saucepan of boiling water on a high heat and bring to the boil.
Add the pasta and cook as per packet instructions. Drain.
Preheat the grill to medium-high.
Return the pasta to the saucepan with the cream, most of the grated cheddar, salt and black pepper. Stir together to combine.
Pour the pasta into a baking dish and sprinkle the breadcrumbs and remaining cheese. Place under grill for 4-5 mins or until golden brown.
Divide into four portions and serve hot.
