Almond Croissant Baked Oats

Almond croissant inspired brekkie....we actually can't cope. This golden, nutty, crispy air-fried magic tastes like you're in Paris on a warm summer's morning. Except it's free on the Unislim Plan at meal-times under the 400kcal meal rule.  If you decide to have this as a snack, portion it into 8 slices and allow 1 bite per portion.

Ingredients

80g Oats 

20g ground almonds

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

100ml low fat milk 

85g cottage cheese

1 egg

½ tsp baking powder

2 tbsp flaked almonds (for topping)

1 tsp icing sugar

Method

Preheat your air fryer to 160°C (320°F) for 3 minutes.

  • Pop all the ingredients (except flaked almonds and icing sugar) into a blender
  • Pour the mixture into a greased oven-safe dish.
  • Top with flaked almonds.
  • Air fry for 15 minutes until golden brown and set.
  • Let cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy!
