GOAL’s Mile-A-Day Challenge

We are delighted to be in partnership with GOAL as part of their Mile-A-Day Challenge for the month of July.

GOAL is a fantastic charity organization which was established in Dublin in 1977. GOAL delivers a wide range of humanitarian and development programmes, helping the poorest and most vulnerable communities across the globe. This July we are asking our Unislim community to get on board and support this incredible charity in their MILE-A-DAY Challenge.

In the GOAL Mile-A-Day-Challenge you have two targets to set; your personal walking target and your fundraising target.

The Mile-A-Day Challenge will officially kick off on July 1st but you can start at any time in July as long as you walk 30 days in total.  We are asking our members to aim to raise a minimum of €1 per day for every mile you walk. The money you raise will help and support GOAL’s work across 13 countries worldwide.

Committing to walk just 1 mile every day will have huge benefits not only to these communities but also to you and your health:

Benefits of walking:

  • Strengthen your heart
  • Improve fitness levels
  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Increase weight loss
  • Increase your brainpower
  • Boost your mood
  • Enhance confidence
  • Improve sleep
  • Fire up your libido
  • Increase energy levels

Plus that’s not all, to add even more fun to the challenge, we’ve kindly asked our Unislim App Gurus to set up a Mile-A-Day Challenge in our Unislim App, so you can track your daily miles on the go, at the touch of a button. Those who take part and complete the 30 Day challenge will be entered into a draw to win some fabulous prizes!
